2016-07-10 20:43:48Almost finished my build of the rb7 nitro rc, this was a great build well worth the money I'd say. Step by step instructions are very clear and easy to follow, I've had nothing but high quality parts, engine runs very well after its been run in, a tank of fuel lasts a while too ! Few issues I have with the build, first of all during my build model space sent me a few upgraded suspension parts to replace the original, in my opinion made it alot worse, I had to swap the original back as the steering arms hit the top wishbones and make it difficult to steer When reading the instructions and setting up the steering rod, it tells you the incorrect length that the rod should be, it turns full lock left but struggles to turn right. The track rod settings are also wrong my car veers to the right because the tracking is out by a mile. The show body and the race body doesn't come pre painted, it's just matt blue, and you have to add the decals yourself, if that's your thing then cool but I didn't like it. The recoil starter broke on the first pull, maby it was just me (this being my first ever nitro rc) but it happend anyway and got a replacment for 20 quid, never had a problem since. In one of the packs I was missing 1 part however model space replaced the entire pack (giving me extra spares too) It's not overly fast, mostly due to its rear wheel drive, you just can't put the power down just spins the rear wheels up and you slide all over the place, In my conclusion, despite the problems this will realy make you smile and enjoy building every moment, you learn so much too, it's so much fun to racinig it around too, I would definitely recommend if you have the patients
2016-01-13 20:41:33having just about finished my model I have a few issues with the series. Following the build instructions or the build diary on here you will quickly find out that the assembly order is wrong - you end up in the later stages taking parts off the model that were added early on... Rear wing being one... wheels another when in the high issues numbers (90+ you have to remove bits to add extra aero detailing. Next up is the worry about the GX-21 engine - there are plenty of negative reviews about the build and reliability of this engine.
2015-09-15 23:14:04Just about half way through the build and wow what detail it is i little problem with the piston but an easy solf with after run oil

2014-08-18 19:33:07Just got my first issue and wow! the quality and detail of the front wing is awesome.
2014-08-18 19:32:34good quality parts with clear instructions well worth it.looking forward to getting my next parts.
2014-08-18 19:31:57Got my first 4 issues, and it's really well laid out in the magazine, the step by step guide is really helpful! The parts are top quality.
2014-08-18 19:31:14only 8 issues in and it's def top quality stuff from kyosho...
2014-08-18 19:30:35I wasn't sure if to get the series at first, mostly due to the cost and how long it would take to build. However! I have loved receiving every issue, it's fun and easy to put together with a little bit of patience. The quality of the model so far is fantastic, I can't wait until it's done so that I can take it for a spin. I highly recommend this series for serious Red Bull Racing and F1 fans!
